I was recently invited to this year’s RockFest in Montebello, Quebec (it’s a small town right between Montreal and Ottawa). A bunch of great bands played, NOFX, Lamb Of God, The Descendents, The Flatliners, The Sainte Catherines, Grimskunk, Whitechapel, plus tons of other great punk and metal bands.

Not too long ago I had a chance to speak with both Deftones and Slipknot out in Calgary, Alberta. Pretty cool town…looks bigger on Hockey Night In Canada though. Anyways, after interviewing Slipknot and Deftones, Rose at Road Runner Records up here in Canada sat me down for some catering backstage…i was pretty hungry…at first i didnt notice it, but after a glance at some Tranformers tattoos on his hands, I realized I was sitting next to DJ Starscream, otherwise know as DJ Sid #0 Wilson of Slipknot.
