Here’s what to expect on the radio shows this week:

ExploreMusic

Monday: Guests Avenged Sevenfold. Listen also for a cool alt-folk band from Britain called The Smoke Fairies.

Tuesday: Mike speaks with Arizona’s Authority Zero. The Five Songs list will feature Crocodiles, one of my new favourite bands.

Wednesday: More from Mike as he speaks to Blacklist Royals. I present singles from Klaxons and Carl Barat.

Thursday: Colleen and Paul, a delicate duo from Toronto. And we’ll play some Methods of Mayhem, just to even things out.

Friday: Toronto rapper Ko raps about “Kurt Kobain” [sic]. The guys from Disturbed also drop in.

The Ongoing History of New Music

Depending where you are, you’ll either get part one or part two of “A Not-So-Brief History of Ska.” Then again, you might get part one of “Secrets of Jack White.”

Oh, and we’ve fixed the on-demand streaming glitch that prevented us from uploading new shows. Sorry about the delay.
