To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Rust in Peace, Megadeth will be playing the album in its entirety on a North American tour kicking off in March … and it will apparently be fans’ last chance to hear any songs from the album played live.
Frontman Dave Mustaine reveals in a new message that "the shows are selling out and the RIP record is not going to be part of our repertoire going forward. So this is it."
I wonder what his and/or their reasons are. I can understand not wanting to play much or anything from the album after playing everything from the album at every show for a while, but why eliminate it from their repertoire? I think the decision to never again play some beloved material warrants an explanation to the fans.

And thus this will be the last time I ever see Megadeth apparently.
