With all the G8/G20 nonsense hitting Toronto this week, it seems like half the city plans to get out of Dodge for the duration. But to where? And to do what?
The organizers of the S.C.E.N.E. Music Festival just might be one of the big beneficiaries. Why not take a trip down the QEW on Sunday? With more than 160 bands playing on 17 stages and 13 venues over the course of just one day—and with hotel packages starting at 99 bucks a night—it’s a pretty solid bet.
For the second year in a row, ExploreMusic is a sponsor of the craziness that will be downtown St. Catharines. The 2010 lineup includes a whack of people who have visited Explore over the last year or so: Shad, the Balconies, Down With Webster, Magneta Lanes, Arkells, Rebel Emergency, Still Life Still and dozens more.
