Whislt walking through the streets of Berlin, I saw this poster.

Billy Talent?  Were they in Berlin, too?  Crap!  I should have checked.  I sent a quick email to Ben Kowalowiecz:  “Dude!  Are you here, too?”  Here’s his reply.

Hey Alan…sorry for the delayed response but haven’t had the best of internet over the last couple of days…no we were never in Berlin but the festival we played at was about 2 hours away…it’s been a pretty crazy month…started off by going to South Africa and doing 3 shows in Cape Town Jo’burg and Durban then right to Euro and have been doing festivals for the last couple weeks…ya the line ups at these festivals are amazing! We got to headline quite a few for the first time so were pretty stoked to say the least! We’re now in a weird little ski town in the middle of the mountains in Austria ( I think our hotel was the same one used in The Shining so if see 2 little twins in the hallway i’m running!!) then we’re off to open for Blink on some little island in Germany then off to Reading and Leeds then home for year!!!! Can’t wait to get home and start working on some new material.

Anyway what are you doing over here? Russia is pretty crazy huh? Wish our paths could have crossed

Well safe travels ol buddy and maybe we can grab a beer or 10 back on our soil
