I’ve always been a fan of Killing Joke, even when (especially when?) they were doing nutty things like quitting the UK for Iceland because they feared that Armageddon was imminent and that Iceland was the safest place on the planet.  (No, seriously.)

Now, 32 years after they were first formed, the original line-up (including Youth, now one of the world’s  most famous record producers) is now back together and have just wrapped up the fourteenth album under the Killing Joke banner.

Okay, so it’s a little late.  Absolute Dissent was supposed to come out on September 28^th, but it’s now been pushed back to October 19^th.  No big deal; September 28 is turning out to be a very busy release date, so maybe this is a smart move.
