Last Monday, Amber McArthur and Leo Laporte were kind of enough to invited me on the Net@Night podcast to talk about what we’re doing here at ExploreMusic.  At the end of the show, I invited people in the live chat room and those listening later to offer up some music recommendations.

Don from Texas offers up this bluegrass band.  Not really my thing, but there are people here in the office who are fans. 

Daniela Nardi (Toronto)
Daniela flipped me a link to the kind of music she creates.  She describes it as “EarthyModernPopJazzWorldCool.”  I’m partial to a track called “Crazy Jane,” but there’s more to choose from.

DJ Philly (UK)
DJ Philly is a creator of electronic music who has one EP and a full album called Hurricane.  Check out some of his mixes on Soundcloud.

Jacob W (Riverside, California)
Jacob is also a musician who frequents TWIT space.  Some of his newer songs are available on Soundcloud. 

Michael Moniz (Stoney Creek, Ontario)
Michael is a hardcore Joe Satriani fan and has recorded something in tribute to him.

Monique Barry (Toronto)
Monique’s current CD is called Carbon. 

Noush Skaugen (UK)
Think Veruca Salt and Joan Jett but with a greater vocal range.  She already has a million followers on Twitter.  Thanks to Frank for the tip.
