On the heels of Monday’s and Tuesday’s lists, here’s yet another sampling of six acts who have sent me music over the last few weeks.  Do your duty as an ExploreMusic Associate Music Director and give them a good listen, okay?  And tell us (and the bands) what you think.

‘Andru Cariboni’ is very very different. Great background music, not really good for radio but great on the ears. I predict somebody will grab ‘Carpenter’ and polish them up a bit a spit out a great and very accessible rock band perfect for playing in regular rotation on the radio. Reminds me a little of Matthew Goode. Northcote was the winner for me! Great acoustic songs. The song ‘All I have Is Time’ is mixed so well that it makes your speakers seem transparent and really gives you the feel of being in the room – I’d love a vinyl copy of this for sure!. A very close 2nd place would be Styrofoam Ones – so so good, I like the retro feel to it.

Styrofoam Ones- Big Beat drum driven synth pop?/retro with punk energy.

Passenger Action- High energy indie jam rock. (sort of sounds like Moneen meets Attack In Black)

Nortcote- Music sounds like a folkier Dallas Green, not sure what to compare the vocals to.

Carpenter- Sounds like John Cougar Melloncamp and Barenaked Ladies

I have to say my favorite from the list was Northcote. It was pretty amazing : P
