If there’s going to be a Led Zep reunion next June at Glastonbury, bassist John Paul Jones doesn’t know anything about it.|
I spent a good chunk of Friday afternoon with Them Crooked Vultures in their secret rehearsal bunker someplace in Los Angeles. When the subject of how far TCV might go in 2010, I suggested that the only thing that could get in the way would be Robert Plant’s decision to play the 40th anniversary Glastonbury Festival next June.
Jones chucked. “He’s not going to decide that. I’ve only just heard. Somebody asked me only yesterday and hadn’t heard [anything.]”
Josh Homme then interjected: “So wait a minute. Robert’s in control of all of lives?” That’s when all three members—Homme, Jones and Dave Grohl—broke out laughing.
Grohl had the last word on the subject. “Oh, sh*t, that’s funny.”
Here’s the actual interview clip.
