Indie Track

Bodhi Jones: “I Used To Know How”

2 years ago by Adam Morrison |

This is the Indie Track of the Day Giveaway. It’s just like it sounds—every day we spotlight a song from an indie band/artist and we let you keep the track to do with whatever you like (within the limits of the law).

The song is part of our podcast, so if you want it (you do), search on iTunes for the ExploreMusic.com podcast, or just scroll down to the bottom of this page and click the links.

At the age of ten, Bodhi Jones moved from Saltspring Island to Vancouver with his mother. Overwhelmed by the big city and frequently sick, Bodhi spent a lot of time alone at home, and during these pre-teen years is when he discovered his passion for music.

Over the past six years, Bodhi has recorded five EPs and three full length albums, selling over 12,000 copies while performing on the streets of downtown Vancouver.

In 2009, Bodhi was selected as Virgin Radio’s “BC artist of the month,” voted into The Peak Performance Project’s Top 20, and named Vancouver’s best busker by The Georgia Straight.

This past April, Bodhi released a new album, Where Do We Go From Here?, which was produced by Winston Hauschild (Hannah Georgas) and mixed by Shawn Cole (Bend Sinister, Yukon Blonde, You Say Party!).
