Prophet is a Winnipeg-based five-piece that formed in winter 2009.

In October, the band recorded a three-song demo with John Paul Peters (Comeback Kid, The Waking Eyes). The success of the demo—especially the track "Gamblin’ Man"—has led Prophet to opening shows for the likes of Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold.
