This is the Indie Track of the Day Giveaway. It’s just like it sounds—every day we spotlight a song from an indie band/artist and we let you keep the track to do with whatever you like (within the limits of the law).
The song is part of our podcast, so if you want it (you do), search on iTunes for the ExploreMusic.com podcast, or just scroll down to the bottom of this page and click the links.
Ra Ra Riot formed in Syracuse, New York in 2006.
The band’s six-member lineup includes a cellist and a violinist.
Ra Ra Riot has released three EPs and two full length albums, the most recent of which, The Orchard, was released on August 24th.
The band co-produced The Orchard with Andrew Maury. Nine tracks were mixed by Death Cab for Cutie’s Chris Walla and one track was mixed by Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij.
