Documentary Recommendation – Sounds Like a Revolution

2 years ago by Alan Cross |

At the very moment the G20 weirdness was beginning in earnest in downtown Toronto, I was at a movie down the street.  The occasion was the premiere of Sounds Like a Revolution, a Canadian-made doc by Summer Love and Jane Michener on the role of the protest song.

The film features Rage Against the Machine, Anti-Flag, Henry Rollins, Michael Franti and a plethora of other.  [Full disclosure:  I’m in it. My first appearance has me sandwiched between David Crosby and Al Jourgensen.]

You can check out the trailer here.  Highly recommended.
