When Ontario College of Art student Mark Gane wrote “Echo Beach” for Martha and the Muffins back in 1978, he had no idea if such a place existed.
So the question on everyone’s mind was “Could Arcade Fire’s new album throw Eminem off the #1 spot on the album charts?”
The track was recorded during sessions for the band’s third album, 1991′s Badmotorfinger.
