Hear Soundgarden’s “Black Rain”

Soundgarden will release Telephantasm on September 28th, and the retrospective will include a previously unreleased song called "Black Rain."

The track was recorded during sessions for the band’s third album, 1991′s Badmotorfinger.

A Seattle radio station called 107.7 The End is providing a stream of this, the first new thing heard from Soundgarden in about 14 years.

    Love it. Very Badmotorfinger-y, but that was the album that turned me into a Soundgarden fan.

    I hope there is some new material some day though.

    That mp3 will be in high rotation on my computer for the next little while.
