Here’s the Deal with Tommy Lee
Before a Motley Crue show in Toronto last week, I had a chance to talk to Tommy Lee about the new Methods of Mayhem album. He took advantage of a night off to do some work in a Toronto studio. It’s the first Methods album in ten years—and it’s being made in a rather unusual way.
The new Methods of Mayhem is due in April.
Here’s the Deal with Them Crooked Vultures
And in case you missed Saturday Night Live, Them Crooked Vultures were the special guests—and the best skit of the night featured Dave Grohl playing drums in a wedding band.
Here’s the link for as long as it lasts. As far as I can tell, that they wrote the song for the skit (it’s a great Black Flag facsimile with a little Suicidal Tendencies thrown end) and the name of the fake band was “Crisis of Conformity,” not to be confused with “Corrosion of Conformity”. Good fun.

I am a hit-or-miss fan of SNL, but, Saturday nights episode (hosted by Asthon Kutcher) was one of the WORST ever. The bit where he was a pool boy banging his 110 year old boss…horrible. Thank god for Them Crooked Vultures that night
