You can currently stream and purchase The Beatles’ catalogue online, but don’t expect the opportunity to last long.
A site called BlueBeat.com is selling the group’s remastered tracks for 25 cents and streaming the recently released remastered box set for free here.
If you’re surprised that EMI and Apple Corps. have suddenly given permission for The Beatles’ songs to be sold digitally, MusicRadar has info that might make you think that permission has not been granted.

Update: EMI has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against BlueBeat.com, and the CEO of the company that owns the site has released a somewhat mind-boggling response. Click here for more.
Update: AP reports that on Thursday, U.S. District Judge John F. Walter blocked the sites BlueBeat.com and Basebeat.com and owner Hank Risan from selling copyrighted material by The Beatles and others. Click here for more.
