U2 is one of the best-documented bands in the world, but here are a few more things about the group that you might not have heard before.

(1) You may have noticed the scar on Bono’s chin. He got that when he fell off the stage while rehearsing for the Joshua Tree tour in Arizona. He was holding a spotlight at the time and when he fell, it smashed into his face.

(2) Bono once go so drunk at a restaurant in New York, he felt compelled to remove all his clothes. The other diners were somewhat amused. Somewhat.

And (3) the biggest U2 concert crowd is more modest than you’d realize. The biggest live audience for whom they ever performed was just 150,000. That was in Italy on the PopMart tour in 1997.
