Bon Scott Remembered

2 years ago by Jeff Woods |

Were he still on this side of the lawn, the great Bon Scott would have been 64 today.

As much as I admire and respect his replacment in ACDC, Brian Johnston, old Bon-era ACDC is the stuff I most like to crank loud ‘n’ proud, especially while driving or riding, in fact the entire 1979 album ‘Highway to Hell’ is a sonic classic rock masterpiece, thanks to Mutt Lange, whose role in the North American breakthrough of ACDC cannot be overstated.  He just knew how to make records that sound great on the radio.   And Bon just knew how to sing ‘em.

This short interview clips is kinda funny, featuring Bon Scott and a too old to rock and roller,  with mentions of a new band ‘you might not have heard of yet, called RUSH’, and what about that band KISS, what’s their bass players name???

Enjoy,

Jeff.

Carl? Haha. Looks like Bon Scott isn’t overly impressed with the interviewer. Did he give him the finger halfway through that clip on purpose?? Thanks for posting this Jeff.
