On Saturday night (July 10, 2010), David Gilmour and Roger Waters performed together for the first time since Live 8 (in 2005) at the Hoping Foundation Benefit Evening, held at Kiddington Hall in Oxfordshire, England.
The crowd was intimate, just 200 people, and the event is said to have raised abou t £350,000 for the Hoping Foundation (Hope and Optimism for Palestinians In the Next Generation …. mind you there’s no word on when they’ll do something about hope and optimism for the jews in Israel).
They did "Wish You Were Here", Comfortably Numb" and "Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)".
For a handful of details, get to David Gilmour’s Blog (well, the one in his name, that somebody else writes) click HERE
Cheers,
Jeff.

I always felt Roger was far too self absorbed … in saying that,
he’s a brilliant musician and I think it is an epic moment to see him and David on the same stage again. I personally wonder what actually drives them to reunite for shows like this but I am very envious of the the people that got to see it. If i were to name top guitarists of all time David Gilmour would definitely be a tied #1 for me.
