Fans of the great Jethro Tull will be pleased to know that in addition to having scheduled concerts for Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, and Luxembourg, Canada and the USA, plus Greece, Armenia and the UK this summer and fall, Tull leader Ian Anderson accepted our invitiation to sit down and discuss the past present and future of the band, the legacy of their music, and a variety of his other interests and diversions along the way.
This interview happened in the outdoor lounge, in back of the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto, just before his show there, on the 18th of June, 2010.
Enjoy,
Jeff Woods

Very true about the tough industry; but here’s a link to a modern group that flies the flute high: http://www.reverbnation.com/peacejones

Seen him in Canadagua NY…night before… -
Jeff, thank you so much for sharing this interview with us. I have been a big Tull fan since high school – 1972, and always enjoy Ian Anderson interviews. He is such an intelligent class act. There is no financial need for him to tour and I am so happy each opportunity I get to see Tull in concert. I could ramble on for pages, about the band, the music, the concerts – but won’t. I can summarize my feeling in 5 words. The 5 words I said to Ian when I had a chance to meet him and get his autograph. Thank you for the music. Cheerio!
