Oh to revisit the Blinding Light Show....hurrah! I can tell ya a little story about seeing Triumph headline at an outdoor show at Bingeman Park in Kitchener many moons ago. The supporting acts were Starchild and Moxy. What a time! Triumph had everyone on their feet clapping their hands, stomping their feet, and shouting HEY! HEY! HEY! while Triumph was belting out..."EVERYBODY PARTY, 24 HOURS A DAY". I'm sure their were complaints from neighbouring farmers reported in the media the next day...fond memories of a time since past, but I'm willing to experience it all over again.

Peace,

Kevin

I've seen Rik a couple of times and loved it and Triumph is probably the only band besides Queen that I truly regret not having seen live so I'm hoping there's still a shot at that. These three produced some tremendous music back in the day. Must be tough being you sometimes eh Jeff? It's great when you actually enjoy your work and it's clear you do yours. Keep on keeping us informed. Thanks brother.

Awesome interview, Jeff ... too bad they won't be touring anytime soon ... although it is understandable.

It is great to see the 3 of them able to reconnect and as Gil said "that is the most important thing".

The story about how they got started is cool ... although I find it sad that 'to make it' a Canadian Band has to depend on U.S. markets to recognize them. Same story with our other power trio, Rush.

Thanks, Jeff ... and have a great weekend.

Ah, together again... one step further towards reuniting the band. Glad to see they've patched up the friendship.

My first outdoor concert was Triumph at The Forum - Ontario Place. My friends and I snagged our primo seats hours in advance in the summer sunshine along with the price of admission to the park. The Molson Amphitheater has nothin' on this long gone venue and the good old days.

Saw Rik fronting a Beatles tribute band a couple of years ago at Roy Thompson Hall. He's still got it - voice and all. I'll bet the others do to.

Love listening to your sound bites and the weekly show.

What is with Toronto and killer 3-piece bands? I love Mike's response, it's as if he isn't/wasn't part of one of the great rock bands. I think Gil has 'hit it on the head', radio will go back to being all about the playlist from DJ. Gil also makes it sound so easy to break as a big band , I know there is a lot of work involved but I'm sure a bit of luck is needed too. It's good to see the 3 of them together ... just need to plug them in

Good interview Jeff, nice to see the three of them getting along again. Really enjoyed the whole bit about San Antonio and how they broke big in the States ... similar to how RUSH broke it in Cleveland all those years ago. I long for the days when DJ's & Music Directors would pick the music and build a "show", instead of just doing a "shift". You've always done an awesome job of that. Okay, enough ass kissin' ... Cheers!
