Kat Burns was a solo singer-songwriter when she moved to Toronto (from Whitby) for school in 2004. Eventually, she got her friends and peers together to form Forest City Lovers.
The nature-loving band followed up their independently released debut, 2006′s The Sun and the Wind, with their sophomore album, Haunting Moon Sinking, in 2008.
Phodilus and Tyto, a 7-inch released at the end of 2009, paved the way for Forest City Lovers’ full-length follow-up, Carriage, which came out late last month.
Kat told ExploreMusic’s Ira Haberman about who does what in the band, what kind of music each member listens to, what annoyed her about the band’s new album leaking, and more, and they perform "Oh the Wolves! (Ou Est Ma Soeur?)" and "Sea to Land."

Really awesome mate. Thanks for posting. Would love to have heard some reverb on the instruments or voice though, you made it sound a bit dry.
